As the wave of artificial intelligence sweeps across the globe, the computing power leasing market is experiencing explosive growth, with high-end AI equipment consistently in short supply. However, within the demanding operational environment of high density and high power consumption, ensuring the sustained and stable operation of AI server clusters has become a focal point for the entire industry.

AI Stability Challenges

As AI applications permeate diverse sectors, their operational ecosystems grow increasingly complex. A localised overheating incident within a data centre could trigger comprehensive AI service disruption, precipitating incalculable economic losses and operational risks. In the AI era, the stability of computing power now holds value far exceeding the computational capacity itself.

Material Thermal Fatigue

Challenge: Disparate thermal expansion coefficients among server components (e.g., chips, substrates, heat sinks, PCBs) cause material degradation during frequent power cycles and load fluctuations. This leads to connection failures or diminished thermal efficiency.

Testing Requirement: HAST Test Chambers simulate high-temperature, high-humidity, and high-pressure conditions to accelerate material ageing, enabling rapid durability assessment.

GPU Structural Stress

Challenge: GPU cards are highly susceptible to PCB bending, slot tearing, or component solder joint failure when subjected to accidental impacts during transportation or installation.

Test Requirement: A combined environmental chamber can precisely replicate road transport vibrations and impact scenarios, comprehensively evaluating structural integrity and connection reliability.

Circuit Board Corrosion

Challenge: Prolonged exposure to high-temperature, high-humidity environments causes electrochemical corrosion of copper traces on circuit boards, leading to degraded circuit performance or insulation failure.

Testing Requirements: Composite salt spray chambers simulate and accelerate corrosion effects from coastal atmospheres; high-low temperature and humidity chambers replicate extreme conditions from frigid server rooms to cooling failures, verifying equipment environmental adaptability.
