Environmental conditions will inevitably affect production, storage, transportation and use of aviation products. They can be classified as three types:
(1) Climatic and environmental conditions, such as high temperature, low temperature, mould, salt spraying, dust, rain, sunshine, radiation, etc;
(2) Random flight environment conditions, such as low temperature and low pressure, high temperature and low pressure, temperature impact, acceleration, vibration, impact, etc;
(3) Transportation environmental conditions, such as collision, jolting, vibration and impact, etc.
These environmental conditions damage aviation equipment all the time. in order to adapt and withstand them, the experiment of aviation environmental adaptability and its solution research is necessary.
Imagine that a plane took off from the ground, up to an altitude of ten thousand meters above sea level, this temperature decreasesfrom 20 ℃ to - 50 ℃ in a few minutes. The humidity, pressure and other environmental factors also change dramatically. So the reliability of materials and performances is stringently required. How do you test the reliability of a plane? Obviously it's impossible to fly directly. It needs an environment test facility to simulate a high altitude environment on the ground.
