Test standard overview
IEC 60068-2-18: This is the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) developed a standard on the environmental testing of electrical and electronic products, of which Test R part is specifically related to water test methods and guidelines. The standard specifies the specific methods and requirements for water testing of electrical and electronic products under different conditions. According to IEC 60068-2-18 Test R, waterproof test usually includes drip, spray, immersion and other test methods to simulate various water environments that may be encountered during the use of the product.

The field of application
